Draftable Clean requires network connectivity for license verification and software updates. Additional connectivity is needed for DMS integrations, as well as error reporting and telemetry, which are optional and can be disabled in settings.
License Verification
On launch, Draftable Clean verifies the product license by connecting to Draftable license servers.
| Setting | Value |
|---|
| Host | draftable.com |
| Port | 443 |
| Protocol | HTTPS |
| Required | Yes |
Software Updates
On launch, Draftable Clean checks for available updates. If an update is available, it will be downloaded and installed automatically.
| Setting | Value |
|---|
| Host | dl.draftable.com |
| Port | 443 |
| Protocol | HTTPS |
| Required | Yes |
Outlook Add-in (localhost)
The Draftable Clean Outlook Add-in communicates with the desktop application via localhost. Some corporate security tools, firewalls, or endpoint protection software may flag or block localhost network calls — ensure these are permitted for the add-in to function correctly.
| Setting | Value |
|---|
| Host | localhost |
| Protocol | HTTP |
| Required | Yes (when using the Outlook add-in) |
DMS Integrations
If you use Draftable Clean’s iManage or NetDocuments integrations to upload files, network connectivity to those services is required.
| Setting | Value |
|---|
| Hosts | Your organization’s iManage or NetDocuments endpoints (e.g. https://yourfirm.cloudimanage.com). Draftable Clean supports both iManage Cloud and on-premises environments. |
| Required | Only if using DMS integrations |
Error Reporting
If unexpected errors occur, Draftable Clean can send an error report to Draftable for diagnostics. This can be disabled via Settings > General > Privacy.
| Setting | Value |
|---|
| Host | draftable.com |
| Port | 443 |
| Protocol | HTTPS |
| Required | No (can be disabled) |
Telemetry / Usage Data
Draftable Clean uses Microsoft Azure for telemetry and usage data. For further information, refer to the Microsoft documentation. This can be disabled via Settings > General > Privacy.
