Why this happens
Word can mark a document as modified when an add-in pane opens in it, even though your document content is not changed. Because Word now reports the document as modified, iManage treats it as changed and asks what to do with it when you close it.What to do
- Make sure your organization is on the latest add-in version. From version 2.71.0.0, the add-in no longer changes an Office setting that also caused Word to mark the document as modified. Ask your IT administrator if you are not sure which version you have.
- If you did not change the document, choose the option that closes it without saving your changes. No new version is created, and the document in iManage stays as it was.
- If you did make changes, save or check in the document as you normally would.
Any prompt that remains comes from Word and iManage, so it cannot be switched off in Draftable.
