The settings menu was reorganised in Draftable Legal 26.6. If you are on 26.6 or later, follow the “26.6 and later” tabs below. On earlier versions, follow “Before 26.6”. To check your version, open Settings. The version number shows at the bottom-left (for example, v26.6.0).

Quick reference checklist

Below is the quick reference checklist for both configuration types:

iManage Cloud

  • Draftable Installation: Ensure the latest version of Draftable is installed
  • Administrator iManage access: Ensure that when iManage is being configured, an administrator-level account is used.
  • Custom URL: Ensure that you have your iManage URL ready.
  • Group Policy Configuration: Ensure you have the latest ADMX and ADML templates installed.

iManage Cloud Checklist

Ensure you have the following items ready before you proceed with iManage cloud configuration with Draftable Legal. 1. Draftable Installation: - Ensure the latest version of Draftable is installed (if possible). Using the latest version of Draftable always ensures you have the most up to date functionality and feature access.
Your installed version is shown at the bottom of the settings menu sidebar, next to Check for updates.
2. Administrator iManage Credentials: - Have your administrator credentials ready to access the iManage Control Center. If you are not an administrator (or otherwise do not have access to control center), it is recommended you acquire this access or have a team member who has access to complete the configuration steps. 3. Custom URL: - If you are using a custom URL for your iManage cloud instance, make sure it is noted and readily available for configuration. 4. Group Policy Configuration: - If you plan to configure iManage settings via Group Policy, ensure you have the latest ADMX and ADML templates installed. Latest templates can be found here. iManage On-Premises Checklist

Ensure you have the following items ready before you proceed with iManage on-premises configuration with Draftable Legal. 1. Draftable Installation: - Ensure the latest version of Draftable is installed (if possible). Using the latest version of Draftable always ensures you have the most up-to-date functionality and feature access.

2. Administrator iManage Credentials: - Have your administrator credentials ready for accessing the iManage Control Center. If you are not an administrator (or otherwise do not have access to control center), it is recommended you acquire this access or have a team member who has access to complete the configuration steps. 3. Latest iManage Package File: - Obtain the latest iManage package file, typically found in the installation directory for Draftable. See below the default installer location with the package file highlighted.
4. Service URL: - Note down the service URL of your on-premises iManage setup. This URL will be essential during the configuration process. 5. Group Policy Configuration: - If you plan to configure iManage settings via Group Policy, ensure you have the latest ADMX and ADML templates installed. The latest templates can be found here.
