System Requirements
Your computers must meet the minimum technical specifications outlined below to run Draftable Legal.
Draftable Legal only supports x64 architecture. 32-bit systems are no longer supported.

Software requirements:
- To compare Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents and use the ‘Export to Track Changes’ feature, Office 2013 Pro Plus or later (including Office 365) is required.

Software requirements:
- To compare Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents and use the ‘Export to Track Changes’ feature, Office 2013 Pro Plus or later (including Office 365) is required.
- To perform OCR, Office 2016 (or Office 365) or later is required.
- For spreadsheet compare for Excel, you are required to have one of the following versions of Excel:
- Office Professional Plus 2013 (this is where Spreadsheet Compare first became available)
- Office 2016
- Office 2019
- Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
Network Requirements
Draftable Legal requires network connectivity for license verification, software updates, error reporting, and telemetry. Some of these functions can be disabled.
License Verification
On launch, the application will verify the product license by connecting to Draftable license servers.

Software Updates
On launch, the application will check for updates. If a major update is available, it will be automatically installed. For minor updates, the user can force an update manually.

Error Reporting
If unexpected error conditions are encountered, the application will send an error report to Draftable servers for diagnostics purposes.

Telemetry/Usage Data
Draftable Legal uses Microsoft Azure as the host for telemetry and usage data. This means there are outbound connections to the Azure AppInsights servers. For further information, refer to the Microsoft documentation.
