The settings menu was reorganised in Draftable Legal 26.6. If you are on 26.6 or later, follow the “26.6 and later” tabs below. On earlier versions, follow “Before 26.6”. To check your version, open Settings. The version number shows at the bottom-left (for example, v26.6.0).
This article provides a comprehensive guide for administrators to configure Document Management System (DMS) integrations with Draftable Legal.
Not deploying a DMS? Document Management Systems are an alternative document storage and management solution that can be used in conjunction with Draftable Legal. If you are not intending to deploy any DMS integrations for your organization, you can safely skip this article.
Post-installation requirement: DMS configuration should be completed after Draftable Legal has been installed on user machines. However, some configuration components may have been completed earlier in your deployment process (e.g., the iManage HTTP Listener service). Review each section to determine what steps are still required for your environment.

Where DMS integration settings live

The in-app settings that enable and configure each DMS connection are reached through the Draftable Legal settings menu. The location of these settings changed in Draftable Legal 26.6.
Open the settings menu and select DMS Connections under the Integrations group in the left-hand navigation.

This pane contains a Universal section (settings that apply across all integrations, such as version selection, save file location, and the communication port) plus a separate accordion for each system: iManage, SharePoint, NetDocuments, Worldox, and Epona. Expand the accordion for your DMS to enable it and adjust its options.
